A Day in the Life: How Taking Career Risks Paid Off for Mesud

When Mesud Mujkic started as a temporary worker at our manufacturing site in Solothurn, Switzerland, he didn’t know what to expect. He had never worked at an English-speaking company before, and the new facility was still in the project development phase. Yet, within six months he was hired as a full-time employee, and shortly thereafter, he earned a promotion to a leadership role. Five years later, he now leads a team of 12 in helping to deliver medicines to patients in need.

Over the years, Mesud has continued his career growth through many of Biogen’s development opportunities. “Don’t be afraid to ask questions. We have a lot of great leaders on site who can give advice to help you grow,” he explained.
