Tim Power, Ph.D., M.B.A.

Tim Power is Head of Investor Relations at Biogen. Dr. Power joined Biogen in 2024, bringing over two decades of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, and strategic planning. 

Before joining Biogen, he spent over 18 years at Bristol Myers Squibb, where he most recently served as Vice President and Head of Investor Relations. In this role, he led the company’s investor relations efforts following the transformative acquisition of Celgene in 2019, helping to integrate the two organizations and further strengthen shareholder engagement. Earlier in his career, Dr. Power was a senior consultant at Strategic Decisions Group, advising global clients in the life sciences and energy sectors on corporate strategy, asset optimization, and portfolio planning. He also worked as an engineer in the energy industry.

Dr. Power earned his MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin, Ireland.
